2007 Team Tiara
|
|
Our 2007 Team Tiara, 43 runners strong, trained hard and completed races from San Francisco to New York. About 35 members of our team ran in Moab, Utah. Collectively we raised $16,000 dollars to help empower young girls in Western Colorado. As a team we accomplished so much and still, we had a ball! Highlights included: training runs with Coach Kathaleen and Coach Leanne where we were able to chat—and sweat—with old and new friends; our pre-race dinner and tiara decorating party where team members Katharina and Joanne played a big role; Laura, our Denver team-mate, completing the Chicago Marathon amongst excruciating record breaking heat; the finish line at The Other Half Marathon in Moab where EVERYONE pushed through and completed that tough course; and most enjoyable of all, being surrounded by amazing, talented women gallivanting around in public wearing TIARAS.
